Should I join Equity? If I don't, how do I get seen at auditions? How early do I REALLY have to get there? Is there somewhere to warm up when I arrive? Does anyone actually care how I organize my music? Are follow-up emails even a thing?
We know you have a million questions- because we did too!
Whether you have never been to an equity audition or open call, or you are a new member to the union who is unsure how auditions are being run after the pandemic, we have spent time running around from studio to studio to bring that information to YOU!
Bring your notebooks and pens, because we are going to spill the tea on what the audition grind is really like. With ample time for a Q & A at the end, we make sure that all of your questions are addressed so you have an accurate idea of what to expect when you are ready to start pounding the pavement with the best of NYC.
* Please note that Audition 101 classes are non- refundable, but credit will roll over to the next class if unable to attend. Additionally, we maintain a strict 24- hour cancellation policy for all private lessons.

Want to try those new audition cuts
BEFORE getting in front of casting?
Join us for a community based opportunity to practice your audition cuts in front of a room full of supportive peers.
No casting directors, no headshots, no pressure.
You can try out a song with our resident music director and coach, run sides you're prepping for a callback,
play with new choices in a monologue- anything you'd like.
This is time FOR YOU to practice your craft in a safe space,
without dropping hundreds of bucks.
We will be capping our number of participants at 10 people to ensure that everyone has ample time to work through a couple of audition cuts!
After signing up below, you will receive an email with venmo instructions as to how to reserve your spot.
This email may take a few hours to reach you.
Upon receiving your email, you will have
12 hours to complete your venmo transaction before your spot is given to the next person on the waitlist.
All spots are first come, first serve.
