SING THRU SESH

Work your audition cut with a coach and accompanist BEFORE getting in front of casting. Sing Thru Sesh is a perfect place to try new material, shake out those nerves and hone your 32 bars, monologue, or callback material in a room of supportive peers- Vibes are high, stakes are low, but the work is invaluable.
This is time FOR YOU to practice your craft in a safe space, without dropping hundreds of bucks.

All of the info your conservatory CAN'T teach you about what it's really like auditioning in NYC. We know you have a million questions-
because we did too!
Should I join Equity? If I don't, how do I get seen at auditions? How early do I REALLY have to get there? Is there somewhere to warm up when I arrive? Does anyone actually care how I organize my music? Are follow-up emails even a thing?
We all of this and MORE, and leave ample time for a Q&A so you can ask all of your questions. No matter how specific they are, we've got you.
Take this class once and you'll be ready to dive into auditioning with confidence and clarity.

YOGA:
reclaiming the studio

A monthly series of yoga classes designed to reclaim the audition studios. Instructor Haley Jones takes us through a series designed to release the tension we associate with these studios, with an emphasis on guided breath, gaining mobility, and confidence building mantras.
Join us again in April and May as we reclaim Open Jar & Pearl Studios!

SIGHT SINGING:
for actors

Cost: $15 per class, $60 for four-week series
Designed as a 4-week series, but also open to drop-ins, this class is the crash course that will change your life. Learning to read music and sight-sing will help you learn your music faster for callbacks and immediatley make you more hireable. Sharpen those skills and become every MD's dream.
